Heading up our new cheer program will be Brett Bloom. Brett makes his way to us from Arizona where he has 15 years of coaching experience in cheerleading. Brett was a cheerleader in high school and college. He was also a cheerleader for the All Star gym where he began his coaching career. Brett has coached at the All Star, Middle/High School and College level. He has coached teams to multiple state, regional and national championships. In 2004, Brett founded his own All Star program, the Valley Flyers, out of a small gymnastics gym.  In 2011, Brett opened the Arizona Cheer Factory that became the home to the Valley Flyers. From 2011 through 2016 the Arizona Cheer Factory trained a multitude of athletes. In 2016, Brett made the decision to merge his program with a competitor. This allowed both programs to take advantage of each other’s strengths and give the athletes a better opportunity for growth.

Throughout all of Brett’s professional cheer endeavors Kiley, Brett’s wife, supported him and was his biggest cheerleader. Kiley grew up here in Indiana, moving to Arizona when she was in high school. When Kiley expressed the desire to be close to her family, Brett knew that the timing to move could not be more perfect. Brett, Kiley and their two boys, Bryce (6) and Braeden (4) moved to Indiana in August. Just in time for Bryce to start school at Shenandoah.

While Brett and his family miss the cheerleaders and families that they built relationships with in Arizona, they are excited to start a new adventure here at Small Wonders.
